Eco Casa Gaviota

We had a lovely stay at Eco Casa Gaviota. The double bed was very comfortable, with a great mattress and blackout blinds that made for restful sleep. The house had plenty of thoughtful touches, like carbon-filtered drinking water, a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom with all the essentials, and even a welcome treat of red wine, bottled water, and eggs in the fridge. The terrace was a great place to relax, decorated with charming local art, and the area was wonderfully quiet—just a short walk from Playa La Garita. We also appreciated the convenience of free street parking and even spotted a papaya growing right outside the window!

The property was well laid out, modern and spacious with a great balcony where we ate our meals and watched the clouds come over the mountains in the distance. Location wise was pretty cool as the La Garita Beach, with a lifeguard, was literally one street away. The town itself has a nice supermarket and a stunningly nice café that had fresh pastries every morning. Our host had awesome communications, with lots of help and suggestions on places to visit and what restaurants to visit. :)

excellent quiet location in the small village of Arrieta

It was spacious and well laid out with a large patio and facilities to eat outdoors. It is over the road from the lovely beach and 5 minutes walk from the shops. It is in a fabulous location and all the neighbours and owner were so easy and pleasant to interact with.
