“A run-down facility”

Likes: There was a safe garage for the car. Friendly and helpful staff. Well functioning room cleaning.Stable wifi. Dislikes: -The building is run-down. The staircase next to our room was covered by black mold. Also our bathroom ceiling had signs of water damage. There was no mention on the website that the hotel's ground floor and the main entrance are under major renovation, and that the temporary reception, the lobby and the breakfast area are amidst of a construction site. Like the rest of the building, the room was a bit gloomy and outworn, and worst of all, it reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Even though there is a metro station nearby, the trip to the center takes almost an hour (you have to change the metro line twice, that is from nr 11 to nr 6 to nr 3). Based on our travel around Spain for a month and on sleeping in over 10 hotels/hostels, you can find remarkably better value for your money somewhere else.
