“Ecocirer guesthouse exceeded our expectations, it’s a special place in Soller.”

The best

Barbara and Martin put so much thought into the guesthouse. We felt at home and relaxed there, especially after returning from long days exploring. The location was gorgeous, nestled on a quiet street within Soller. The interior is beautiful and clean, and we slept so well in the comfortable bed.

Location close to town, pretty surroundings and courtyard, very comfortable bed, extremely peaceful and lovely decor.

To be improved

Only suggestions really but supply of long life milk would have been handy for a hot drink on arrival. I appreciate though that people use all different types of milk these days. Also, as environmentally friendly accommodation, I think smaller flannels for showering would be better as far less body wash would be needed to get a lather!

“Fantastic property to enjoy the delights of the Soller Valley from”

The best

Property is fantastic, immaculate though heed their advice and get a very small car or a taxi as the roads are typical of Soller ie narrow. This was our eighth visit to the stunning Soller , there were orange trees outside and this property allows you to walk to the centre in a few minutes or drive to beach in less than 10. The views from the bedroom were stunning and so that room makes for a very relaxing spot. We had a small issue whilst we were there which Martin immediately offered a perfect solution to.

“Lovely apartment, but lacking privacy.”

The best

Very well located apartment in the centre of Soller, yet very quiet and relaxing. The bed is comfortable, and there is a possibility to watch Netflix movies from bed. The kitchen is well equipped, and basics such as sugar, salt, vinegar and oil, etc. are provided.

To be improved

There were two bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs), but neither had a door. I found it difficult to have privacy for my morning routine, and odours created in a bathroom shouldn't mix with the bedroom and certainly not with the immediate kitchen.

“Absolutely terrific! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this absolutely charming hotel to anyone!”

The best

The breakfast in the hotel was absolutely fabulous - each course was explained - all based on Ayurvedic principles. You have to book in advance. Barbara has, since opening, developed 3 cookbooks. The fruits and vegetables and grains are used in an innovative way. Both Barbara and Martin were always helpful and generous with their time and knowledge. You felt part of a community for the period you were there. The guest house is separate from the hotel, private and very comfortable and about a 5 minute walk into the centre of Soller

To be improved

We had booked for 6 nights and wished it was for longer........we would be delighted to return. There is so much to do and see in Soller and in the port, which is easily reached by the local train.
