“Location, location, location. But take a peg for your nose!”

The best

The location is arguably the best in Valladolid. The smell from the drains is a real problem that Plaza Mayor Apartment seems to continue to ignore. Communication was really good we were offered a different, really beautiful apartment, but it wasn’t in the square. We were offered some compensation which is yet to materialise. We decided to buy a reed defuser and some air freshener and put up with the smell, but this is a known problem (see reviews) stop fobbing people off and fix the issue!

“Very central location just in front of the townhall, the price was affordable (even for a solo traveller it was one of the best offers in the city, for a grout of 2-4 people it would be really cheap). It has the most necessary stuff (dishwasher, microwave) and a fancy design. Beds are comfy, there is a good reading light and a lot of sockets everywhere). · Cons: All the windows look into a very narrow side passage so it's always dark inside and you have to turn on the lights even in daytime (it´s mostly quiet, but when someone walks or speaks in this tiny passage, you hear it like it was just by your ear). The electricity went out several times and I had to turn it back on at the panel. From my point of view, there lacks a kettle and you should invent something to make your tea. And well if you want to cook something you have to bring ever the salt (well, noone promised any cooking essentials, but just for information).”

“Cute apartment ruined by drunks walking by on Plaza mayor.”

To be improved

Street Noise from 3:45 am to 6am. The stink of sewage from the shower drain. I put a wet wash cloth on it. There was no soap for laundry and no market to buy it from.
