“The pool was lovely and clean. The apartment was nice and spacious, and I loved the patio doors that opened up. Didn't really need the air-conditioning in the day, but at night, it was nice to have. But really airy . Clean sheets and towels but needed changing in a week, I think. Very close to strip, beach and shops ideal location for taxi and bus. · Cons: There are a few issues in the apartment. Could do with updating the chairs and interior. We did see cockroachs in the kitchen that weren't nice. But I did report it early on. Didn't see it anymore later in the week. But maybe there when we were sleeping. Noise from apartment upstairs with moving stuff around late at night.”

“Way better than we were expecting by the reviews.”

The best

There have been complaints about the shower, I can see how if maybe you are larger it could be a problem but I'm 6ft 4 and it was fine. The other shower was pointless tho the setup don't work and it's also mouldy on the ceiling( there are two showers, toilets, wash basins in two separate rooms) The toilet shower room situation ia 100% fine. The air conditioning unit was leaking unknown to us and my 3 year old slipped and banged her head. It wasn't draining properly but a few taps got it working again (drain pump drained for the rest of the 10day stay) Cockroaches I saw 2, 1 on one day and 1 on another. I would NOT say it's a problem it's just one of the bugs Spain has. I have seen less in the apartment than out and about walking the streets. All of the reviews that I read leading up to our stay that were putting us off of our family holiday were all irrelevant to our stay. Our kids absolutely loved this apartment as did we. It's a really nice apartment and I would stay again

To be improved

Just the second shower room and that the AC leaked and injured our 3 year old. But not the end of the world and I WOULD stay again!

“Sadly, We would not recommend this apartment.”

The best

We were so excited to stay here as the reviews were good. The apartment is nice but the photos were obviously taken a while ago because it needs updating, and some things need replacing. It’s one road away from the beach, near the strip and is surrounded by shops. The pool is quiet because the apartments are mostly privately owned. The apartment was spacious for us 4 friends.

To be improved

We arrived at 11pm and picked the keys up opposite the apartment from the booking.com office. On entering the apartment, we were confronted with at least 12 very large cockroaches in the hall and kitchen. We went back to the office and said we cannot stay there and need to be moved. The man told us it’s nothing to do with him and we would have to call the ukbooking.com number. The man on the phone said we couldn’t stay anywhere else and if we want a refund, it’ll be £400 instead of the £1200 we had paid and it would take a week for us to get it back. He told us he didn’t have to give us a penny back as it’s non-refundable. We said it wasn’t in a fit state to stay in and he just kept saying it’s non-refundable. We couldn’t afford to lose £800 and it was now nearly 1am, so we decided to buy some spray to try and erase the cockroaches. We managed a few days in the apartment but couldn’t stay for the week we had booked, as we saw cockroaches everyday including in the bedrooms. We hardly slept and couldn’t use the kitchen. We have been to Benidorm 20 times and have never had any problems with any accommodation apart from this one. The shower is tiny and the water was cold every night. There are no sunbeds around the pool. The apartment is on a main road.

A 5 minute walk to the beach,plenty of eateries to choose from,shops and chemist nearby

To be improved

Very small shower basin it was like a large sink with a curtain that always stuck to you,bedrooms were small for a twin,no storage for clothes.

Beautiful clean apartment with everything you needed. Would definitely stay there again. My Downes brother loved the swing in the play park. Location fantastic 10 out of 10 for everything
