To be improved
When we first entered the apartment, we were greeted by an unpleasant smell. On top of that, there was visible dust on the cupboards and the bed, making it clear that the cleaning was far from thorough. The bathroom was in an appalling state—filthy and clearly neglected for years, with missing tiles, broken drawers, and an overall unhygienic condition. There is no shower door, so water splashes onto the bathroom floor, leaving it completely soaked after each use. The bathroom door itself offers no privacy at all, making the space even less pleasant.
Despite seeing cleaners in the building, the stairways were left dirty, adding to the sense of poor maintenance throughout the property.
Check-in policies are rigid and unaccommodating. Even though the apartment was "cleaned" and ready for the next guests, we weren’t allowed to check in even a minute before 15:00.
The apartment lacks basic essentials such as sugar, salt, tea, or coffee. The dishes had a strange smell and needed to be washed before we could use them. The kitchen design is also flawed, with the exhaust fan venting directly into a cupboard, causing grease to accumulate over time.
The location is average—it’s not too far from the beach, but the surroundings are noisy. At night, locals gather at the nearby playground benches to drink and talk, and the sound echoes because of the surrounding buildings, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Communication with the property was disappointing. Response times were either very slow or nonexistent, and attempts to call the provided contact numbers went unanswered.
What’s especially frustrating is that a review from 2023 highlighted similar issues, but nothing seems to have changed.
Overall, this apartment falls far short of expectations. Unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service, I cannot recommend staying here.
