El Algarrobero

We had a wonderful stay here. You wake up with a breathtaking view of the valley and a sunrise that enlightens mountains. Nothing can beat the amazing view. The house itself was spacious and comfy. We didn't have to use the airco because you can enjoy the nice mountain breeze when you open the windows. The house itself has a lot of privacy and it's really quiet and peaceful. A perfect accomodation to relax. The road to the house was a little bit intimidating at first but after a few times it won't feel that way anymore. Special thanks to the lovely host Efrén for giving us many tips and meeting us in all our needs. We will definitely come back!

Peaceful location, but only 10mins walk from Santa Lucia . Very well cared for property with a lovely,attentive owner. Several good walks accessible directly from the property.Other reviews are accurate. A very enjoyable, relaxing holiday.

If you are looking for a quiet rural property within easy reach of good bars, restaurants and supermarkets, then Casa El Algarrobero is ideal. Even more so if you enjoy hiking in the hills, as there are walking trails right on the doorstep. It was also great for us 'town dwellers' to have such a good view of the stars at night. We were at the property for four nights, which went far too quickly. The host was very helpful and ensured the house had everything we needed for our stay. It was spotlessly clean, and there was plenty of space for four people in the large communial area. We cooked in the house for three nights (including a BBQ), and we found the kitchen facilities met our needs, with a two burner gas hob, a large fridge freezer and a choice of two BBQs. On the fourth night we walked to the top of the track and enjoyed a meal in the village. The bedrooms were a good size, with wooden shutters on all doors and windows that provided privacy and security. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed, with an excellent rain shower and a hose attachment, fed by plenty of hot water. Outside, on the large patio area, there was good quality furniture, two sun-beds, and a large table with bench seats. There is also a small plunge pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Algarrobero and would not hesitate to book again.
