“A perfect 4 night stay”

The best

We had a lovely 4 night break in Calpe. The apartment was perfect. Clean, light, well equipped, with a good shower and fantastic views. Jose made things easy for us to find the apartment and supplied lots of local information such as places to eat. We were a 2 minute walk from the closest (and our favourite) beach as well as a very short stroll to the harbour and the rock. The old town was a pleasant 30 minute walk along the promenade and sea front and worth a visit too. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Calpe and would recommend to any friends and family.

To be improved

The only problem (and not the hosts fault) was the water went off one night just as I went in the shower. It appears that someone had mistakenly turned off the supply to the apartment. The host (Jose) communicated clearly and eventually identified the issue so it could be corrected when we returned later that night. It didn’t spoil our experience.

“I wish I could give 11!”

The best

Best place we stayed in Calpe, by a mile. The hosts were so communicative and flexible. The apartment had everything we needed, the bathroom was lovely and it was a great size for couples. The view was amazing. The supermarket, the beach and the Rock were so close by. It wasn’t too far to walk into the old town.

To be improved

If you are planning on cooking, bear in mind that there are only two induction hobs so good for basic meals, which was fine for us.
