The property is in a fantastic location. The gardens are very nice and well looked after. They were very good and let me park my motorcycle in the garden out of sight of passers by.

To be improved

Personally I found the staff very hard to deal with, in some ways rude. Even though my booking was pre paid they refused to accept it even when presented with all the evidence. They only realised I was correct after they charged my booking account again. Just what I needed after a long days ride in the rain. The room we had was extremely run down, in some ways rather dilapidated (see pictures). The walls were paper thin and we were kept awake with some snoring in the next room!

Not a lot really- maybe some time ago this was a good hotel with character- but lack investment

Dog foul in the garden. Beds were old and very uncomfortable. It needs investment to qualify for better reviews. Shabby but not sheek.
