“Well worth a second visit.”
The best

Very close to a supermarked and very close to the beach. We personally like the distance to the town Torre Del mar. It makes for a nice 2 km walk along the beach promenade. The apartment is very well laid out and modern and the host has done a good job of creating a cosy atmosphere. Kitchen is well stocked and bathrooms nice. The terrasse is great (except for the non-functional awning). The pool area is nice. In fact the entire area is nice with closed and locked gates all around, daily supervision by English-speaking personnel and a locked garage in the cellar. Nice neighbours all around. Very friendly hostess.

To be improved

Awning (markise) didn't work, so the terrasse was extremely hot when using it in the afternoon sun. Aircon was also fluctuating a bit. One degree change in the settings resulted in it being either too hot or too cold during the night. Some of the furniture seemed to be place rather hastily, so screws were tightened properly. There were also minor issues with the ventilation. Some of our party reported a not too pleasant smell from time to time when we entered the apartment. Two of the beds were small (one too small). 140cm and 120cm. That's not well for full size adults. For children it will be ok. A bit on the expensive side I think. Hostess only spoke Spanish (of which we fortunately understood enough to get by).

The best

Beautifully presented and very well equipped. Perfect for a family and excellent location. The grounds were also immaculate.

To be improved

Nothing - we mentioned there was a slight smell to the air con and the owner replied instantly. This was just due to it being used for the first time in a while.
