The air conditioner was a godsend when it was super hot outside. Coming back to the room was a little slice of heaven, and it was easy to sleep despite the heat. The location was great, just up the road from Barceloneta metro station, which made it easy to get around. The staff was very nice – Anna was very welcoming, and the cleaning staff were very prompt in making up the room each day.

To be improved

The room could have used a good vacuum before I arrived. It was mostly clean (the sheets were fresh, the bathroom was wiped down, the towels were sparkling white), but there was dust in the main part of the room on the floor and some strands of blonde hair in the corners near where I kept my suitcase. I'm a brunette, so it definitely wasn't mine. There was a cockroach next to the elevator on the ground floor of the building when you enter. It was dead and may have been there for a while, but it wasn't great. Out of the property's control, potentially. But at least I didn't see one in my room! :)
