The staff were great and very helpful.
Fantastic complex for a chilled out break, generally enjoyed the stay.
Beautiful views, but quite a walk to the waterfront. Relatively quiet and peaceful.
Onsite restaurant did a great value menu del Dia.
Good value but paid for sunbeds and kitchen not well equipped.
Accommodation was basic but clean. However, some furniture was outdated.

“Had an amazing time and would definitely go back again. A car really is a must have.”
Lovely apartments with everything you could need. Nice balcony with an amazing sea view & bbq. Tv had lots of options. Plenty of towels provided. Pools were very close to our apartment. Short drive to beach, supermarket, restaurants etc but strongly recommend hiring a car for your stay as very hilly.
Beds were very uncomfortable & hard. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which meant using a sofa bed which again was very uncomfortable. €3.50 per day, per sun lounger fee. Can’t get the sun loungers till the bar opens and this is a few hours after pool opens. Again sun loungers get locked up when the bar closes at 7pm but pool doesn’t close till 9pm. €20 euro fee for air conditioning + fee for WiFi. You have to obtain a pool pass for the week and have to put down €50 euro cash deposit. Chlorine levels aren’t quite right in pool, stained my swimming costume yellow and my hair turned green.

“Really nice place but be prepared for a walk”
Really nice place, we had a private pool. Villa (ground floor) was clean, views were great, communal pool was really good. Staff were really helpful. Cave bar is a great addition. Two supermarkets over the road. Definitely recommend for a family holiday. Whilst busy, I loved the local beach
Had to pay for wi-fi, which I dont have a problem with, however, having paid for it, you kind of expect it to work, it was patchy at best. Kitchen was a tad cramped. Personally I was fine with the location & quite liked the walking, but my wife/ 10 year old weren't overly happy (it was ok going down to the beach, but pretty steep on way back)
“We had a number of issues in advance of our stay and during our stay, the response of the staff was generally to ignore us. While we enjoyed our family vacation, the experience of El Capistrano certainly dampened our holiday. We will not be returning nor recommending to stay here. · Cons: The issues were plenty and all badly managed 1. A week in advance of our arrival we were told there was a flood and the house would not be fit for use, were then told a day later it would be fit for us. To be clear the house smelt dreadfully from a chemical treatment to deal withthe issues from the flood and damp. It was not fit to be let. If the dehumidifier was not on constantly the smell became overpowering. 2. We had a power outage on the Sunday evening, effecting our property only. No emergency number was provided. We rang the numbers provided and sent wats app messages. These were never acknowledged or responded to. We resolved the issue ourselves. 3. The toilet off the living room was broken. We reported it and it was fixed. It stopped working again the next day. 4. The doors downstairs did not close due to damp including the family bathroom door. 5. It is Spanish law that all habitable rooms must have air conditioning. The upstairs of the house did not. We asked the agent why this was the case and why we were not informed. He informed us that this rule is not enforced so they don't care about it. All in all a bad experience at the villa, the pools and pool staff were fantastic and the kids really enjoyed these facilities. Also, the onsite italian restaurant was lovely.”
