Wonderful location, perfectly set up apartment for a vacation, impressive sound insulation from the busy square and welcoming hosts!

The alleyway through the entry was under construction, but this was a very minor inconvenience amidst a wonderful stay.

The best

We loved the location and the resturants and activity in the square below. When the windows were closed there was virtually no noise, so don't be put off by being so close to restaurants etc. Christina was very helpful and ordered us a taxi on the last day.

To be improved

The stairs are very narrow, if you have large suitcases this is not the place for you. The entrance is not inviting but it is part of a construction site at the moment.

The staff was helpful in navigating the many problems created by the location issues and construction.

To be improved

The location is next to an active construction site which was noisy starting at 7 pm and ugly to look at. Street noise from the adjacent plaza went until 11 AM. There was some sort of noise from below, which sounded like stones being dragged across a cement floor, which went on for additional hours. The apartment is not accessible by car as it is in the center of a no drive zone, which includes all of the old city. No one mentioned this prior. The room is accessed in a secret squirrel operation, which requires meeting at a closed dress shop several blocks away for instructions on the use of 3 separate keys at different access points Then, a passage up a winding staircase so narrow I couldn't turn around with my backpack on that I hit my head on twice. Everything in the room is cheaply made. There was no service the 6 days I was there. No washing machine.
