El Jardín de Corrubedo

What an amazing find! Not only is the area remarkably beautiful, and the town is quaint and friendly, our stay at El Jardín was fantastic. Maria is a great host and made us feel welcome from the start. Super flexible and gave us great recommendations for hikes/walks. The breakfast was great too. I’ve already recommended it to a friend who’s traveling the north of Spain next year.

The exceptional support and friendliness of Maria, who couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfasts were something else - lots of top quality freshly prepared food. The variety of food was great - fresh fruit, home-baked cake, pancakes, excellent quality Iberian ham, cheese etc. The location of the hotel, although a little tricky to find, was actually excellent, as it was a very short walk to the small fishing port. We also spent a wonderful day walking along the beach and to the very impressive sand dune system.

I cannot recommend El Jardin de Corrubedo highly enough. Firstly, the staff are fabulous - friendly, cheerful and helpful. The room (I think ours was the superior double) was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. They offer a varied and healthy breakfast menu downstairs every morning which is included in the price and we had dinner in the restaurant twice. The food was delicious and the atmosphere quiet, friendly and relaxed. As the name of the place suggests, there is a garden where you can eat outside and if you happen to be there on a Thursday you can attend an outdoor morning yoga class which we did and enjoyed very much - the teacher was great. And finally the town of Corrubedo itself is a wonderful labyrinth of narrow streets to explore, there are spectacular beaches within walking distance and beautiful countryside.

Eco-friendly small hotel in the center of lovely Corrubedo. The hotel is located in a traditional Galician stone building, the rooms are very clean, comfortable with a sofa beside the bed. Breakfast is extremely good with a great selection of fresh products, and it includes also baked eggs and a variety of toasts. Breakfast is served in the restaurant of the hotel, and it can be outside in the garden/patio or inside. Staff very friendly. Location is very good in the middle of Corrubedo and it is possible to walk to the fantastic beach of Ladeira.
