“Very good”
A beautiful authentic house.
I stayed at this holiday house at the end of September and unfortunately - the house was very damp, causing all clothes and bed linen to become wet. There were noticeable gaps between the doors and the floor and between the door and door jamb, which allowed dozens of millipedes to enter the house. I spent a lot of time removing them. Additionally, no mosquito nets were on the windows, so flies would come in during ventilation. The Wi-Fi was also an issue, with a speed of only 19 Mbps and a signal that barely reached beyond the living room. This was also the first place in my experience where I had to sign a contract agreeing to pay for sewer toilet repairs if it got clogged due to my fault.
“A lovely traditional house in the hills - quiet with a beautiful garden”
We really enjoyed staying in this house up in the hills. It is accessed from a steep, winding road which takes a bit of getting used to, but once you've done it, it is worth it. Our host met us on arrival and there were good communications throughout our stay (via whatsapp). The highlight for us was the garden: with productive orange, avocado, fig and lemon trees and an old grape press as well as a lawned area. At the end of the garden there is a chicken enclosure and our daughter loved going in there to see if any eggs had been laid (about one a day). Internet good; hot water; well equipped kitchen; didn't try the TV so can't comment on that; comfy beds. Lovely shady walk up into the hills from the house, past small fields and woods.
The neighbour's rooster does crow early in the morning, which we didn't mind at all because it is all part of being in the countryside, but if you'd rather sleep on, maybe bring some earplugs to sleep in.
