How do I start- what I great stay we had:)) This little house has everything you may want and need for a stay in La Palma. Located almost at the north, evenings in the end of November were a little cold, but nothing a little fireplace wouldn’t handle.
The house is fairly easily accessible and found, no crazy steep roads like we saw in El Paso :D We were absolutely happy here with everything but what would I point out was the fireplace that made the whole place almost magical. This house is lovely and simple but cozy and surprisingly well equipped. There is a big garden with 60 year old lemon tree, flowers, with so many birds and little lizards, a place to hang your laundry and garden seats.
Silence, except a handful of local cars passing by during the day. All the houses are far from each other so there is a total privacy and you feel very safe here (La Palma in general is a safe place to be).
The house has even an air conditioning! which you can use both for heating and cooling.
Beds are incredibly cozy, quality mattress, we slept like in heaven. Kitchen has everything, for tea and coffee making, microwave, stove… Bathroom was very clean, washing machine included. WiFi working without problems, good signal, TV.
Lovely owner(s) welcomed us with local yummy gifts🍌, I would definitely recommend it here!
Also, this place is ideal if you want to discover the northern part of the island: goat farms, mountains, observatory points, if you want to explore more of the “true”, less untouched La Palma. You will meet goats 🐐 on the roads sometimes :) I recommend to stay in more places of you also want to discover the south/west/east of the island, otherwise you will travel a lot. But if you like the north, which is in my opinion a little more wild and authentic then the rest, there is no disadvantage I can think of now.
