El Mirador de Bendones

It’s a lovely guest house run by its charming owner Paulo. It’s in a great location in the mountains but also close to the city of Oviedo and the rugged coastline of Asturias. Paulo will cook an evening meal if requested which we found to be great as we didn’t have to drive. The village is very quiet with just a beautifully renovated church and 17 inhabitants. It was gloriously quiet!

Everything was high quality. The house is well kept with very good taste. The view over the valley is breathtaking. The quality of the breakfast. You can see the passion of Paul who put all the attention into each little detail. We travelled a lot but this is rare gem. Hats off!!

We enjoyed our stay in El Mirador de Bendones very much. Paul is a wonderful host and he did everything to make our two days near Oviedo very special!

Fabulous view of a ninth-century church from the terrace. Very comfortable room with a lovely terrace. Paul was an exceptional post, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and he also provided dinner and wine for a fee. It was great not having to go out for dinner after being busy all day in Oviedo. Highly recommended.

Lovely staying out in the country. Spacious room with a balcony upstairs. Onsite parking. Flexible arrival time & direct communication with owner. Very well run guest home.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable in beautiful rural location. Fantastic host who went out of his way to cook dinner for us, despite the fact we hadn't booked it.
