El Nido

This is actually the second time we stayed at El Nido. The host met us at the flat. Communication prior to arrival was perfect. :) Terry is very nice and friendly, he gives you lot of tips where to go and how to get about. The flat is a little dark but that is absolutely fine for a summer holiday as you do not want the sun warming the place up more and you are not planning to stay indoors. Everything we needed was there- coffee machine, washing up liquid etc. The location of the flat is perfect. 1 minute away to the nearest bus stop which serves 2 bus lines- one takes you close to the beach and city center, the other to the train and bus station. Great community with a market on certain days, shops and great cafes and restaurants where the locals go.

The communication with the owner was good.

The apartment was in the perfect location for the two of us. We prefer to be away from the touristy places so we can sample the local culture. The apartment had all the facilities you could ask for, absolutely spot on. 10 minute bus ride from the beach on the No10 bus. A market and supermarket were a short walk away. The host, Terry, was very friendly and welcoming. he also allowed us to stay an extra night when Easyjet cancelled our flight home. You couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended, we will be staying there when we next visit Alicante.
