“The hotel was clean & quiet · Cons: As you approach the hotel there's an el paso restaurant with a sign saying desde 1969 & it feels like the area & the hotel haven't changed much since. In the room the air-conditioning was hit & miss, the room was basic but clean, but very hot. The area it was in was pretty bleak. We never felt unsafe, but I imagine few tourists come to this side of the tracks. There is a nicer side to aguilas but it's a fair distance as it's a big town which we hadn't appreciated.”

As you approach the hotel there's an el paso restaurant with a sign saying desde 1969 & it feels like the area & the hotel haven't changed much since. In the room the air-conditioning was hit & miss, the room was basic but clean, but very hot. The area it was in was pretty bleak. We never felt unsafe, but I imagine few tourists come to this side of the tracks. There is a nicer side to aguilas but it's a fair distance as it's a big town which we hadn't appreciated.

Easy to get there and parking available in the area; efficient check in & check out; walking distance to the city centre; room comfortable enough.

Nothing to highlight as negative; no surprises regarding the surroundings (this is not a beach hotel and once one knows about Águilas, one knows what to expect); not easy to avoid annoying noisy neighbours (but not sure what could I ask the hotel team to do about that...). I got what I paid for.
