“4 night in Cordoba”

The best

Location was excellent. Good area of town near bars restaurants and shops. The old town around the Mesquite a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The Terrace was a bonus. The double bed comfortable.

To be improved

The kitchen layout is poor. The sink being in the corner makes it difficult to access. Kitchen equipment was sparce, only 1 wine glass and no chopping board. There were enough mugs for a football team, although none matched. Pan scourer and kitchen cloth need to be replaced. No door on the bathroom.

“a good place to stay (even with some drawbacks!)”

The best

This apartment is in an excellent position within walking distance of all the sights of Cordoba and, being just off the main street, is quiet. It is a short walk from the station. The spacious balcony, which has 4 seats, gives views down to the road below and provides space to enjoy a drink or eat your sandwiches. We were given very clear instructions for the collection of the keys which made our arrival easy. There is a fabulous wet fish shop immediately underneath the flat. Although we had reservations about some aspects of the apartment (see below) the excellent position meant that this was still a good place to stay.

To be improved

Although the apartment itself is of a reasonable size for 2 people, the cooking area is cramped. The microwave cannot be used in the position shown on the photos and has to be moved. The sink is in such an awkward position in the corner that doing the washing up is difficult. The two ring stove is all right to make a snack but makes cooking a full meal for 2 people quite difficult. ...and there is still only 1 wine glass, a year after people have pointed this out!

“Really nice comfortable apartment with a lovely patio area and near to all attractions and amenities”

The best

This property was a really comfortable apartment with a lovely little patio outside for morning coffee etc! It was about 10 minutes walk from the major attractions of Cordoba ie the Alcázar, Mezquita catedral and the synagogue/jewish sector. As you get to these from the property you pass a multitude of bars and restaurants. I got from Cordoba train station to apartment in 15 minutes. The host was very clear with the entry instructions and gave good advice. The room was spacious with all a solo or a couple of travellers would need. Really good property

To be improved

There really wasn’t much to complain about but , for the less mobile, maybe the fact that although the property was on the fifth floor , the lift went only to the fourth floor so you had to walk the last flight…that is just fyi really.
