“Good apartment but mouldy, host needs to improve the facilities”

The property was exactly as in the pictures and we were very excited upon arrival seeing it’s a bigger apartment then we expected

To be improved

After a closer look, we noticed there is a lot of mould in the apartment which made us very concerned about our health We wanted to report it and try to change our booking but we just wanted to enjoy our holiday without going through the fuss of having to move in the middle of the night and we were gone most of the day anyway. Also, because were a group we understood quickly it will be challenging to find a new accommodation especially since it was 1st of May and there were a lot of tourists in Alicante There was a very musty smell and I personally couldn’t sleep the first two nights because I was stressed seeing how much mould there was and because of the heavy air We thought maybe we are the first guests of the season as we were there on the 1st of May, however we booked early in advance so the hosts should have prepared to make sure the apartment is not a health hazard to anyone On top of the mould, there was an insect infestation in one of the bathrooms
