What a wonderful concept….the Patio. Nothing like the U.K. idea of the area outside the back of a house. This is a closed courtyard without a roof with rooms opening onto it (private, secure rooms). This space had two chairs and a small coffee table for us to use, and the courtyard was full of potted plants and flowers. The overall effect was beautiful and a huge bonus was keeping the temperature down! With a window open to the patio and the ceiling fan running slowly, we didn’t need the AC at all……yet daytime temperatures hit 39C. This is the truly “green” way, devised centuries ago!

To be improved

The room itself was pretty small and quite cramped. The bathroom was just a glass panelled section of the bedroom. It all functioned well, but 3-4 nights would be enough I would think.
