“A lovely stay and we would happily return!”

We were met by Angela who gave us a thorough introduction to the area. The location, environment and apartment itself were very good. The accommodation is about a 15 minute walk from Santillana del Mar but we thoroughly enjoyed the rural setting and walk into town. The apartment was comfortable and satisfied most of our needs in terms of facilities.

To be improved

A few basics were missing like wine glasses, a corkscrew, teaspoons and a kettle. The mattress in one of the bedrooms was very hard. None of the above spoilt our experience, however, as we managed to circumvent any inconvenience caused.

“Perfect place for visiting Santillana del Mar and Altamira cave”

The staff spoke surprisingly good English. She was very helpful. The location is perfect for Altamira museum and Santillana del Mar. Quiet place with plenty of parking in the yard.

Lovely quiet location amongst local homes, children playing across the road. Very relaxing

No good knives to cook with and plates etc on other side of room. Not a big deal. We would stay again
