“Great place to visit and a nice and tidy apartment to stay in!”

The best

The location was great - nice walking distance to the places we wanted to visit, the apartment is roomy and has all of the necessary furniture. The host was very welcoming and responded to all the inquiries in the timely manner; it was easy and stress free to get in. We even got a welcome gift which was a very nice surprise!

To be improved

It is a pretty loud neighbourhood and the apartment is quite noisy. Also, there is no washing machine - keep this in mind if you are staying a while. It is pretty lean on essentials (like toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags); there is no salt or pepper, no kitchen towels. You would have to account for these as additional expenses.

“Perfectly located apartment, well equipped with a very kind owner who helped us with practical”

The best

The owner helped us out on the hottest day with mobile airconditioning in the house (42 Celcius). A nice place close to the subway so the whole city can easy be discovered. Two bathrooms are a nice bonus.

“Apartment in Basarrate”

The location is great, not in the city center but very close to the metro station that leaves you anywhere in the city in 5-10mins. The apartment is well furnished and fully renovated. Beds and comfortable and having two bathrooms, both with a shower, is convenient. Available umbrellas are quite helpful in a rainy city like Bilbao.

To be improved

Delays when checking in and especially when checking out, with us waiting for over an hour with no answer from the host. No toiletries (they were mentioned in the description), just 2 bin bags and 2 toilet rolls for 4 persons and 1 week aren't enough. Insufficient plates, cutlery, cups and glasses. No basics like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, oil, baking paper, foil, etc. Blackout curtains are badly needed due to the presence of street lights that remain on all night. And the microwave wasn't easy to operate, button texts are long gone.
