El Refugio

A smaler light in the living-room area would have been nice, but really that is just a minor thing. Otherwise everything great!

There is no address number on the door or on the wall next to it on our arrival. It took a while and we had to count buildings from left and from right to guess it. It is a "must" to post the number sign on the door regardless the reason behind it or at least inform your guests of it and provide the how-to-locate tips. Therefore the property key collection was frustrating. The bedroom in the back was very close to a neighbor's patio and someone smoked there in the evening. The smoke went into the room and we had to close the windows tight that left the room stuffy. There were no sitting furniture in the bedrooms nor any luggage stands. Although the host provided the parking info, the 2nd communication during our stay was to remind us to check out the next day after we already checked out. Didn't feel the hospitality there and there wasn't any helpful info in the apartment.

I would have liked to have had a clothes dryer. I understand the culture in Spain is to dry clothes outside but as a short term traveler that is not practical. In fact, there was no access to a clothes-hanging line or even a drying rack.
