El Retiro

The rooms were cramped and old and were much too expensive for the state of the rooms.

No AC. It was very hot. No fridge or kettle, cups or glasses in the room.

Older hotel, rooms are very basic. No ac but cooled off quickly in the evening with the window open (no screen). Our room was clean but had a very strong smell of ammonia.

Needs better soundproofing to block out neighbours in the throes of passion 😂 Was quite a walk from anything

one key per room so when I wanted to get in the main door & my husband was upstairs I had to get bar staff to use master key.

The shower drain was a bit clogged. The menu stated that a plate was 20 euros but it was 20 per person. Could be indicated on the menu. The food was good though.
