“Good location”
Very close to public Carpark and old city
No air con or electric fan. But Cuenca is normally not hot. Host said that they would provide fan in July and August. No lift or elevator. Prepared to bring your luggage up flights of stairs.
“Exceptional”
“Great option for Cuenca if you want more than just a room.”
Host Oscar was very helpful. He was in regular contact with you via Whatsapp for anything you need Great location. Spacious living area and kitchen.
Bathroom and bedroom with full bed a bit tight. Heaters take a bit to get going.
“Highly recommended!”
The hosts are just amazing. They made me feel welcome even before I arrived at Cuenca. Apart from the usual stuff, they provided us with a lot of traveling hints. As for the apartment: it's a very nice apartment in a historic building. Of course, historic means there's a lot of stairs (and no elevator), and the bath room is a bit small. You'll love the apartment unless you're handicapped. Just in case you're very sensitive to noise: you'll might hear the kids upstairs every once in a while, but don't worry, it's not a big deal. It's just you know you're not alone in the building. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are tastefully decorated. There's also a secure and high-speed WIFI - special kudos for that! The rooms are also remarkably clean - something that's always a topic because I'm suffering from various allergies, but even after a couple of days, I still felt good. Remains to mention that the apartment is in the historical quarter of Cuenca. Most of the time, one of the hosts works in a shop nearby, so you can easily reach out to them. They speak Spanish and French. If you don't speak either language, communication is probably difficult, but my entry-level Spanish did the trick. You just have to be prepare for a telephone call in Spanish. Putting a long story short: Highly recommended!
“This is an absolute recommendation for anyone visiting the old city of Cuenca. The best we had!”
Flexible handover with a little introduction. Very friendly welcome!
