The best

Exceptional - an experience of a lifetime with the location. The staff very friendly and food excellent. Do not miss out on the suckling pig and lamb, the swim at the dam and the Eremita San Frutos

“Rustic abode with quaint rooms and lovely staff”
The best

We arrived late and the restuarant was closed (off season) however the receptionist made us a delicious plate of meats and cheeses and set up a table in the restuarant. She also had cold wine on the table - so lovely.

“Scenic location, tasty lunch”
The best

The immediate surroundings are very scenic, the simple breakfast was tasty, the room was a good size, and lunch in the restaurant was delicious. The hotel architecture has charm as has the restaurant. A lovely 4.5km walk along the small river is very peaceful.

To be improved

The hotel closes at 1pm on a Tuesday so it is important to plan accordingly because there is no-one to give any information, and the restaurant is closed. The location is very scenic but a great pity is the quarry/mine and cement factory, some 200 metres away, which runs 24/7 and makes quite a lot of noise, with lorries and machinery running most of the time.
