The location

To be improved

No toilet roll, missing lights in bathroom, uncomfortable bed, insistence on cash all the time, poor service, including “what do you want” for breakfast rather than a menu etc. We felt like an inconvenience.

Perfectly adequate, if not exceptional, quiet village overnight stop.

Service did not come with any smiles. Their restaurant was closed the evening I stayed - nobody’s fault, just not what I’d anticipated.

The best

Perfectly located on our cycle route from Bilbao to Porto. A great value one star hotel. The shower whilst small was brilliant. Watching the football with the locals in the evening was good. The food is inexpensive, very simple and well cooked. Our bikes were securely stored in a. ocked garage.

To be improved

Breakfast was quite basic.and.not enough for 2 hungry cyclists. Excellent coffee and and a friendly host.
