“Room for improvement”

The best

A beautiful hotel which is kept spotless. The reception staff weren't very welcoming and I wouldn't say any of the staff are friendly if I'm honest apart from Oscar in the restaurant. The food was of good quality but limited choice. The food was luke warm/cold, the heat lamps don't seem to work. Unfortunately Juan carlos who cooked the meat/fish on the plancha served everything cold and raw. He'd already 'cooked' and piled lots of the fish/meat and placed it to one side. It was completely raw and not edible! This wasn't a one off, he did this each day. This is the only job he had to do! We told the gentleman in charge of the restaurant that the food was raw and he shrugged his shoulders and never answered us I thought the idea of the plancha is to cook the meats and fish fresh to order? This isn't the service I would expect in this type of hotel. The spa was a lovely addition to our stay although the spa wasn't as clean as I'd have like and the water looked quite white and dirty. I would love to return if they could correct the issues.

“Perfect family hotel”

The best

Rooms are big enough for a family of 4, well equipped and a nice balcony which gives you extra space. We had breakfast and dinner at the buffet and it has different theme every night, loads of options to choose. The food in the swimming pool bar is ok and not too pricey. Our favourite is the entertainment for the kids, they always really welcoming and good fun!! This is the main thing that makes us pick this hotel....we all can have fun on our way!! This is our second time here and many more to come!!!

“Excellent hotel, friendly staff, very clean, good food.”

The best

A 3 night break in a Junior suite, our 5th stay in this hotel. All staff were friendly and professional, (special mention for Paula on reception). Everywhere is very clean, food is varied and good quality. As there were a lot of children there at the same time, the adults only swimming pool was very welcome. Well done to all staff, we will definitely be back for yet another visit.

The proximity to a very nice beach. Breakfast was OK. Barman (at the only bar) was lovely.

To be improved

Front desk staff were unhelpful and almost annoyed when you asked questions. The booking.com page suggested there were 3 restaurants and 3 pubs. Only 1 restaurant and 1 bar were open. I understand they may open them during peak season only but that should be advertised and mid June is close to if not in peak. The 'beach bar' was extra, not included. There are no coffee facilities or even water provided in the room. There's never a price list for the drinks so you don't know what you're paying until the end. The 'adult only pool' allows kids in. The 'adult only restaurant' was not open. There's nowhere clean to sit out and have a drink in the evening, only a small, very dirty balcony next to the loud kids entertainment. The hotel is probably OK for a family with young kids, but stay clear if you're a couple.
