ELCANO Bermeo 2

Kitchen not really up to the job for any serious cooking. Only 2 pots, one of which is only for boiling small amounts of water for tea. Also the cooker hob itself isn't able to boil 3 potatoes or even some eggs as it takes forever and isn't powerful enough. No kettle on the kitchen and the toaster was broken which means using the grill but there's no grill pan either for making toast even. The other rooms were fine though. In general we found Bermeo isn't a great location as the train takes forever to get anywhere and a car requires some heart stopping mountain driving so unless you're used to rally driving maybe try a different coastal town or Bilbao itself. This is nothing to do with the apartment of course just my thoughts.

It really needed 2 people to juggle with opening the car park door and getting the flat keys. Luckily we found a parking space on the road outside the block of flats whilst we sorted this out. We struggled a little with the instructions. The remote control for the car parking door is just inside the front door of the flat on a shelf. Easy when you know this!
