I never received the email that was to tell me how to get into the apartment. I checked inbox, junk, trash, etc. Never got it. The name on the building was different from the reservation so I couldn't even tell which building it was. I called Booking.com, found out I needed a PIN in addition to my reservation number. I found only one email that included my PIN. Got thru on the phone where the guy first told me to check my email. Finally he told me I had to go to a space in a parking lot (which was fenced off so I couldn't drive into the lot), open a small lock box bolted to the pavement to get the keys. This whole process took a couple hours including time walking around trying to identify which building it was. Also the apartment was cold and had no way to turn on heat.

Poor communication and information about checking in. Ended up waiting to just receive a message with instructions, which could have been provided in advance. Beds were not made and quite uncomfortable. Just a base sheet and some old decorative cover. We would have expected beds to be ready for sleeping. Broken sofa armrest and places collecting dust which have been overlooked. Not our favourite stay.

Taxi driver went to the location (€20 from airport) but couldn't find the apartment based on the name. Whilst on the flight, an instruction email in Spanish was sent to me from the owner despite us communicating in English previously. Before I saw this, I called them but their phone was switched off.. We had to locate a lock box which contained the key to the apartment which we did and got in. It took several attempts to open the apartment with the key, making me think the wrong one was provided. Aircon didn't work.
