Elegant Eixample Apartment nicely decorated

The apartment (I assume the whole building) seems to have a sewer problem. Every day, once or twice a day, there was a super bad smell going from the bathroom, and we had to leave the ventilation in the bathroom on all the time, but this didn't help too much. Besides that, there seems to be an tenant above this apartment who was doing laundry super late like 1-2-3 am almost every night, but we were already prepared with earplugs from experience. This though might annoy other visitors.

We were told that our apartment was accessible by elevator, but we were not told that the elevator was placed 14 stairs upper from the entrance of the building. The toilet, the refrigerator, and some other items had traces of dirt. Some lights didn't work. Pillows are so overstuffed that made our sleep very uncomfortable. Hot water was not immediately available, but after having wasted water for several minutes.
