Water unavailable for 12 hours with no warning. Windows have massive drafts and little noise barrier - from the front you get street noise, from the rear elevator, stairs and doors.

“Clean and confortable but noisy and key system not user friendly”

The best

This property is walking distance to Retiro Park, El Corte Ingles and not to far buy taxi to Museo del Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen. There are also a nice bakery, butcher shop and grocery store on the street. The beds were confortable. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook some meals and breakfast. The wifi inside the apartment worked fine. The living room was confortable.

To be improved

The key system works with WIFI and is not custom friendly. We got locked outside the building for an hour before it got resolved. If you are a tourist and don't have a cellphone with a European internet package...you won't be able to enter the premise or communicate with the property management ( not on location). The building was under renovation and the street was noisy at night. The apartment needs paint refreshment and the bench at the entrance should be repaired. The owner should have provided coffee, pepper, salt, olive oil and paper towels like in other vacation rentals, but we had to buy it.
