Elegante Loft en Chueca

There is a lot of furniture for the apartment size. No view and balcony.

The walls are a bit thin and you can hear what happens in the next rooms/apartments. Similarly the noise coming from the rest of the building can be felt within the flat at any times.

I would describe this apartment as a cramped studio. If you think "elegante loft" will be like a loft apartment in New York, for example, you will be disappointed. It is not a large, open floor plan with tons of natural light. This apartment is a small studio--that is, one room--with a tiny kitchen that fits one person and a single table that will fit two people if one of them is petite. The windows look out on the wall of a neighboring building; there is very little light. The most serious issues were the noise and the water. I heard music--a throbbing beat--every night, and it affected my sleep. (I was unable to identify the source.) The hot water tank in the bathroom is quite small, so no long showers. More important, however, was when the water was cut off due to a problem in the building. It was resolved within a few hours, but it could have been a disaster. There was no one to call. Booking.com requested that I get compensation, but I never received anything. I wanted to like this place but it just wasn't good. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
