The whole check in process was difficult. They ask you (to save them the work) to upload your information via a link they send. The form is badly designed and doesn’t work, we spent half an hour trying to do it and in the end gave up and messaged them to say it was impossible. There was no communication from the owners until we had actually arrived in Vigo so we had to hang around until they messaged. Security is tight - the key was under the doormat of the bar next door! When we finally got in, the place was a bit smelly, tatty and dated with cheap fittings. One word of advice to the owners - get rid of the really naff picture with the F word. We have lived in Spain for 17 years and you see it used everywhere, T shirts, posters etc. Spaniards seem to think it's really cool like, look how well I speak English. We're no prudes but it's just really, well....naff. It's opposite the docks so there's a bit of noise at night with containers clanking around and the balcony table only has 2 chairs which is a bit odd for a 3 bed apartment. It was about 25 mins walk from Vigo centre. On the whole, not the best choice we've made on Booking but if you're after something cheap, it will do.

The master bed was on the floor, not good for people with bad knees.
