“Good for a few days”

There was someone at the reception destk waiting for us. The pool is great. Big and kids friendly. There is a restaurant and terrace facing the beach. It is also walking distance to the beach.

To be improved

The studio was nice and comfortable, but did not look at all like the picture on the website. It felt a little old. Some floor tiles were lose, the bathroom fixtures were rusty. Also, there was not enough parking

“Relaxing, Dog Friendly and Peaceful......but VERY dusty!”

The best

The size of this First Floor apartment was good, although the bathroom is quite small. It would accommodate four people easily but six would be too many. There are two balconies; one quite large and a small one. The water pressure in the shower is great, with lovely hot water. It’s very close to the beach and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is very good, with great service and food. They also allow dogs in, which is great. There is use of the pool at the hotel next door. The host, Joan, is very helpful and pleasant. The air conditioning is very efficient and keeps the whole apartment cool. There is no washing machine in the apartment but there is one available next to the lift. There is ample parking behind a coded barrier, on the complex. Some open, some under cover and some in the underground garage. It is on a first come, first served basis. There is no designated place. The common areas are very clean. There is a lift, which is very useful. The beds are comfortable, with foam mattresses. The TV is a good size, with HDMI and USB ports. Both balconies are very safe for pets and children, as they have solid walls around them. The area is lovely for walking and cycling, with a designated path all along the seafront.

To be improved

Please be aware, this is a VERY dusty environment due to the sand/dirt road at the side of the apartment. As the cars drive fast along the road, the dust is blown up onto the balconies. Everything gets covered in dust. It is impossible to leave the doors open and not nice breathing in the dust. This is not a fault of the host, it’s just because of the location. People who are sensitive to this should be aware. I don’t like having to pay tourist tax in cash on leaving. This should be included in the initial booking payment. As we were getting ready to leave, the water supply stopped, so we very nearly couldn’t clean the kitchen. Fortunately, after about 20 minutes it came back on. And, fortunately, it didn’t happen while I was in the shower! There are far too many chairs and tables. Three lots altogether. One table and four chairs in the dining area, one table and two chairs on the small balcony and two tables and 6 chairs on the large balcony. The large balcony would be better having a folding table, stackable chairs and two sun loungers, as it gets the sun for most of the day. The 2 tables on there now are so heavy they can not even be pushed to one side. The sofa bed in the lounge area is very uncomfortable to sit on and also stained on the back and on the arms. There is nowhere to dry clothes or towels, apart from on the small balcony which gets covered in dust. An indoor airer would be useful. The double bed had only one hard foam pillow and one lumpy polyester pillow. The single beds had no pillow protectors on them. There is only one mirror, in the bathroom.

The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were adequate with most of the basic necessities met. The beach is extremely close by along with a bar restaurant for your food and beverage needs! There is car parking available and it is pet friendly.

To be improved

The tap water is undrinkable because of the saltiness and there is a coffee machine but not coffee pods. A couple of bottles of water and some coffee would have helped since there is no department store nearby. But that is just me being picky,
