A thieve entered the property, which was locked, while we were inside with our babies and children, and stole €2,000 of electronic equipment. They must have climbed over the top gate, which is easy to climb over. The property has no surveillance cameras to act as a deterrent, or to provide video footage to submit to the police in the case of a burglary. We found out afterwards that the house has had burglaries before, so were shocked that the property has such poor security. We raised the issue with the villa owner immediately and they told us that they have insurance and that we should get a police report. We spent 4 hours at the police station, on my birthday, expecting to reclaim some money for the stolen goods, to then be told by the owner that they cannot help. So it was a complete waste of time. Really disappointed with the situation, that the agent was aware of the burglary risk, had not put any mitigation measures in place to prevent it, and then in the case of the burglary, advised us to waste our time further at the police station, then offer no compensation. If you would like to enjoy your holiday and not be worried about random strangers breaking in and stealing your belongings, while you are inside, do not stay here!

Not enough crockery and cutlery for 12 people, not enough pots and pans. Washing machine kept giving error message, and no instructions for its use. Fridge on all 3 floors were rusty on outside and shelves missing. No plugs in any sinks. Made wasing up difficult also unable to have a proper wash in bathroom sinks.
