Great location near the royal palace and walking distance to most all tourist locations. It was as promised in pictures. Very modern and nice. Having three bedrooms and two bathrooms was great for us traveling as a family with two teens. The host got us in easily by remote access. Full apartment for use. Very nice

To be improved

Entry door at street was harder to find and doesn’t make the property look as nice - but once inside it’s great. Directions on the A/C remotes would be helpful to ensure proper energy use and climate control.

“Great place to explore and enjoy Madrid”

The appartment is a charming family place, which I would definitely try to repeat next time I go to Madrid. It has a perfect location very close to the heart of the city, near Royal Palace and just 15 min by foot to Plaza Mayor / Sol. Very good balance - practically all the main tourist attractions are in an affordable walking distance, but, meanwhile, it is a quiet part of the city, which falls out of the louder all-night-long-life areas. Inside, the appartment is nicely done, cozy and well equipped with everything needed. Simply perfect.

To be improved

I only regret not being able to stay longer in the appartment. Having said that, few issues to note - just to be kept in mind (but no complaints!): (1) Everything is e-managed distantly by the host, incl. the opening of all doors upon arrival = you should ensure being in fully operational touch with the host (WhatsApp worked perfectly for us). (2) Be ready for well equiped and modern bathrooms, but without a small stand for the soap in the shower cabin - something I would never understand, even if certainly not the first time to see it. If you are no liquid-bottles, but hard-soap user, be prepared for a small bit of a quest. :) (3) Finally, if you are a car traveller, think twice - not because of the appartment itself, but because of parking and access to central Madrid in general. No easy solutions, so, if you need to rent a car, try to focus its use in time, learn more in advance and consider well all rental and parking options.

“Spacious apartment in perfect location”

Overall all very good. Perfect location. 200 meters from Royal Pqlace and Cathedral. The street is very quiet. No noises by night. Spacious and well decorated and featured. Basic stuff for cooking available. Nice island kitchen. Confortable beds. The pans may need to be upgraded soon. The night table lights did not work in one bedroom.
