- The bedroom is a really tiny room that lacks any furniture or hooks to hang a towel or cloths - The apartment has no air conditioning and is not ventilated (the owner persistently closes the windows, which is the only ventilation in the apartment), as a result it is unimaginably hot and there is a strange smell inside. - There is a very loud fan in the bedroom, which is not doing a job and makes sleeping very hard. When you open the window at night, you can expect to be awakened at 5 in the morning by the neighboring market hall. The shutter was also broken, and there were no blackout curtains.... Going outside in June in Malaga provided more relief from heat, than staying inside. - In the bathroom, there is a bucket of dirty water that is constantly used to clean up after guests with the same water. There is black mold on the shower curtain. The owner persistently closes the window, which is the only ventilation in the room. - The shared room is occupied by the owner, making it difficult to settle in. - The host, Salvador, does not speak English and is a strange person that causes unease. He lives in the apartment, and his presence and behavior made us feel uncomfortable and watched. He sent many daily messages, either reminding of the rules or asking about our situation. When we didn't respond immediately, he sent a message asking why there is no reply. The owner is sensitive about door slamming and noise, which made us walk on tiptoes and speak in whispers around the house. The doors have no seals and can be heard slamming when closed. Instead of solving the problem, the owner constantly lectures about closing the doors carefully. We did not want to return to that place and sneaked through the hallway so not to encounter him. We did not feel comfortable inside in the presence of the owner, who was always there to supervise us, so we only returned at night...

At first, we were disappointed. They said check-in was from 1:00 p.m., but they were only able to check us in at 1:30 p.m. Also, we had booked a room with a private bathroom, but it turned out to be a room with a shared bathroom and kitchen — there were two other rooms in the apartment besides ours. But maybe that was our mistake :(
