Getting in the front door was near impossible because of poor carpentry and the locking system, which was terribly difficult to work out. Also none of the interior doors closed properly as they did not fit into the door frames.

We did not receive email with entry instructions, WiFi code etc. No natural light and hob didn’t work so no hot water for refreshments. Leak under kitchen sink

A week before our stay, I received many long Spanish-language emails from the host to the Booking environment and to my email. There was a lot of irrelevant information. The instructions for entering the apartment came a few hours before and got lost in other correspondence. A direct link for check-in was sent, but it didn't work. I should have used some kind of app to get the door key. In summary: there is a very complicated procedure for entering the apartment. It took us 1.5 hours to make calls and exchange letters. By then, we were all frozen. The apartment had been renovated (there was putty chips in the corners and on the floor), the design was nice, but several things had been installed with double-sided tape. They gradually started to fall off, the latch on the shower door, on the last evening a picture in the living room suddenly fell off the wall, etc. We have stayed in many places in Galicia before and during this trip, but this was a different experience, but not the worst.

We struggled to figure out which was the front of the building and how to get inside. Eventually it just came down to understanding the language and having access to wifi.
