From the moment we arrived, the experience was negative as the host was more rushed to go out with her friend then calmly give us a tour of the apartment. The person who received us was unwelcoming, rude, and completely uninterested in hearing any of our concerns during our stay. We tried to raise issues, but they were dismissed without any effort to help or even listen. The apartment itself was in terrible condition. It was visibly dirty — hair on the floors, dust on surfaces, and an overall feeling of neglect. It was clear that no proper cleaning had been done before our arrival. The interior is outdated and worn down, with furniture and fixtures that look like they haven’t been updated in years. It’s in serious need of renovation to meet even basic comfort standards. The beds were awful — extremely hard, uncomfortable, and didn’t feel clean. Sleeping was a challenge not only because of the beds but also due to the constant, loud noise from the neighbors above, which went on at all hours and made it nearly impossible to rest. This place failed on every level: poor service, lack of cleanliness, outdated facilities, and a noisy environment. We expected far more for the price and were left completely dissatisfied. Unless major improvements are made, I strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

The best

Spacious. Secure. Perfect for a longer stay, lots of appliances. Close to old town and modern shopping and dining areas. Good lighting overall. Terrific shower.

To be improved

Only one soup/cereal bowl located. Right bedside lamp out of order. Needs a full length mirror (at this age we need to check that we have dressed ourselves properly before we go out!). Unable to manoeuvre our large car into the garage entrance.

We were a bit disappointed in our stay. To start positive: the location is excellent - the old town is within a few minutes walking distance. Then the negative part... We specifically booked this apartment because of the jacuzzi. Since the instructions on how the fill and heat up the bath were lacking, we texted the host (who specifically mentioned that we could address all questions towards him) to get some instructions. His reply was : I don't know how it works.... We did insist that he would check with someone else, but did not come back to us. In the end we did fill up the jacuzzi but were not able to use it, since it was cold. After our stay, we got a reply that the jacuzzi was not working... so the advertising was misleading. Beyond the jacuzzi, we think the apartment was not clean when we entered it. There were hairs and dust laying around and there were blood(?!) stains on the ceiling of the bathroom. All of this makes our stay not as comfortable as we would expect for this price.
