Clean and well equipped

The property is dirty and very shabby. The kitchen is tiny. There is no dishwasher and cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils are well below minimum requirements. For example there were only three knives, two very small tumbler glasses, a single tea towel and no spatula for frying. There are no storage containers for tea, coffee, sugar or for fridge storage. There were no supplies of essentials whatsoever. The "welcome pack" comprised three individual sachets of Nescafe and three sachets of sugar. No milk or tea was provided. Clean bed linen was provided but the other bedding and the beds and sofa bed themselves were very dirty, as was the rest of the apartment. All of the wardrobe shelves and drawers were dirty and one chest of drawers was missing handles on most of the drawers. There was a collection of its broken knobs in one of the drawers together with the odd haiirclip and dirty tissue. The swimming pool was advertised and looked appealing on Booking.com but the reality was that it was covered in algae on its floor and could not be used. Even if it had been clean it could not be used due to a local government edict preventing its use due to a hosepipe ban. There were no sunbeds of any description and there were no garden chairs provided. I recovered two plastic garden chairs from the nearby dumpster and bought Cif and other cleaning products and spent about three hours cleaning and restoring them so I could spend some time in the garden on something half comfortable. Yet the garden is your only hope of access to sunshine because the balcony is tiny and it is overhung by the one above, so unfortunately the best one can hope for in that space is a sliver of sunshine throughout the day. If you need to use the clothes horse for drying then that occupies the balcony almost entirely. The TV is old and almost useless.

It would have been nice to use the pool but sadly it was closed due to water restrictions.

We arrived home at night and the lights in the stairs were not working.
