“Authentic Spanish Apartment”

The best

An authentic & charming Spanish apartment, with the interesting quirks that go with it. Well-supplied & comfy, big fridge/freezer, great TV, large bath towels. The owner loves his city & is ready with so much advice that you'll want to move there. He's a delight. Very quiet area.

To be improved

Small things - 26 stone stairs up (just an FYI for any with mobility issues), minor fixes needed (broken bathroom door handle), the bed & shower are small for tall or large people (husband is 6'4"). We really weren't very concerned about these, just noting them. We'd stay again.

The apartment is centrally located, which was perfect for exploring Seville. Communication with Manuel was great, he gave us plenty of great recommendations on where to go and what to see.

To be improved

The apartment could really use some improvements. The furniture felt quite old, and the bathroom door handle was held together with tape. I slept on the sofa, which wasn’t very comfortable and could use a proper deep clean. Overall, the place didn’t feel thoroughly cleaned. There was dust on the shelves, and although the bed linen had been washed, a few old stains were still visible.

“Great stay in wonderful Sevilla!”

The best

Very nice flat, stylish, authentic, beautiful hallway in the building, with absolutely great location to visit all the beauties of Sevilla! Everything was clean, all necessary tools provided. Was pleasant to find there were different types of coffee and tea too. As it was quite cool in the apartment, a heater was a big bonus! Very interesting host, great fan of the city, gave us in advance all the important information a travel guide could not give, regarding sighseeings, routes, eating and so on... was nice to find even a brochure with tips on the shelve there :) All the recommendations were soo helpful! 🙌

To be improved

I would definately change the lightening, white light was very disturbing to the eye and mind too, yellow lights would make the flat much more cozy. Cutlery could be improved. Despite the fact that it really is a very calm street, you can hear all neighbours when they are opening and closing doors or talking loud on the street, for lightsleeper it is a discomfort, but after 2 days even I got used to it :)

“Decent but not a great winter rental”

Location was good. Washing machine in the unit was a nice bonus.

Upon arrival we reached out to ask where the parking facility nearby was as we had a rental car but never received a response. Not a highly recommended space for the winter months unfortunately. Apartment was rather dark and cold - Wall AC/heating unit in main area did not put out heat very well but grateful at least for floor space heater. Bedroom wall heater was better. Could use additional lighting and/or perhaps different lightbulbs? Existing lightbulbs are uncomfortable stark LED light like being in a gas station toilet.

“Very good”

The best

Great location, easy to walk around Seville and visit all the landmarks. Bars, restaurants and cafes within 5mins walk. Apartment spacious and fully equpped to make our stay comfortable , even providing tea, coffee, aceite, toiletries! Communication very good with the host. Parking available just a few mins walk from the apartment at 25 euros per day. Would definitely return😀
