Location was great but you are right in the centre of an active area so be prepared for that.

Hair dryer had a cord that was shorting on and off, sinks had no drain plugs to retain water for washing dishes, shelf to hold soap and shampoo was missing in shower. Front door to apartment complex required attention to make sure it was closed and locked.

The best

The location of the apartment is brilliant, one minute from the main shopping street and from the main avenue. It is close to the lovely port area, to the museums and there are plenty of restaurants within a very, very short walk. The apartment is comfortable and is essentially as described. A comfortable bed, a nice sofa, coffee machine, and a decent little kitchen.

To be improved

A couple of small things would make a big difference in terms of comfort. The shower head needs to be replaced. A cheap job, probably less than €50.00. The existing shower head is poor. Water is not distributed well. The heating in the living room is okay, but the apartment was never comfortably warm. One other improvement would be the installation of a smart TV so that overseas guests would have access to more than local to stations and could sign into their own Netflix account or YouTube. These are small gripes in the overall context of the experience.
