“A lovely stay in Malaga!”

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Calle dos Aceras! The apartment is in a good spot for getting into town and restaurants, although not totally central. It was nice and clean, the beds were fairly comfortable and the accommodation had mostly everything we needed. There was a fridge (with freezer), microwave, sink and enough cutlery and bowls, pans etc to be getting on with. It was a shame that there wasn't a kettle though, and the coffee machine had some pods provided for it which for some reason wouldn't fit in the machine (and I really did try every which way to get them to work)! The host company had also provided a sponge, cloth and small bottle of washing up liquid to wash up dishes with which was a welcome addition. It was lovely to have a private terrace to sit and enjoy the sunshine on too 😊 Communication with the host company was easy and prompt through the booking.com messaging service. They were quick to respond to any questions I had, and sent messages when they said they would (eg regarding checkout procedures).

To be improved

The apartment could do with a little modernisation in places - some of it was perhaps not quite as smart as it appears in the photos. It is also a little smaller than it looks in the pictures, but was perfectly fine for two people. The access to the bathroom is through the bedroom as others have mentioned, so maybe more suited to travelling with people you know well.

We stayed at this property in 2022 when it was under previous management, however on this occasion we felt attention to certain details was lacking. The Wifi is not fit for purpose, 1 toilet roll only provided which was insufficient for our length of stay, kitchen powerpoint had exposed connections, kitchen lighting broken.

The bathroom is off the bedroom so the property is only really suitable for a couple. Late check in ( after 8pm) charged at 20E which isn’t clear and expensive. Loft apartment so ceilings are sloped in bedroom and kitchen and we hit heads a few times.
