Lovely apartment & excellent location! The apartment building was very quiet, although expect some traffic noise outside. Easy & scenic walk to Guggenheim along the river. Supermarket nearby if you need supplies!
You need to pick up the keys from a local bar, which could be confusing for some, however, we found it fairly easily! The kitchen has 3 bins, but nothing that tells you how to separate your waste to recycle.

The apartment is lovely- very well equipped and has everything you need. It's located on a busy road, not a city street, as the pictures seem to indicate. But there's no noise after you close the windows.
My issue was with the admin, who appeared to have very poor communication skills/ not much empathy or patience. I see from the reviews that other people said the same. Before booking this apartment, I sent a message asking if they can manage luggage transfers for us. I asked the same question to three apartments listed in Bilbao. Two said no, this one said yes. So I booked and paid (quite a while in advance) A week before scheduled to arrive I wrote and reminded of the transfer (so we could book Correos). The lady who replied- Monica- said she could not manage a transfer, and oddly seemed to insinuate I was lying about them ever agreeing - even though I had an email proof. The tone was quite aggressive, so I asked if we could cancel/ get a refund. She agreed to do the transfer. As it turned out, Correos didn't want to drop, so we collected our luggage from the PO. We were settling into the apartment when a Dutch couple came in looking for another apartment (theirs was through the door that said Do Not Enter and yes our door was probably unlocked). But concerned we had both double booked, we brought them into our apartment then tried to call Monica. No response x 3. So I sent her a message explaining the situation. Her reply was that I was lying about the Dutch people coming into our room and appeared to call them stupid. I was a bit floored. Why would I make it up? And why would they be stupid? I guess some people just aren't cut out for hospitality. In Monica's case, perhaps write in Spanish if your English can get misconstrued.
