“Disappointing.”

The location was fantastic - and that's about it, and whilst the house held a lot of promise, it fell woefully short of what was advertised. (See next section)

To be improved

The additional three "bedrooms" in the basement were not clean nor setup ready to accept people, and it stank of damp and mould. Even the deceased cockroaches must have found it tough goin. The property and its facilities are clearly not well maintained. Many of the showers were broken or didn't work and regularly ran out of hot water. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the WiFi was poor. One of the bedrooms the heating didn't work. The kitchen was way too small for the number of people. The oven didn't work well. The decor etc. was also very dated and poor. There were also a couple of times where people came into the grounds of the property without announcing themselves first. The list goes on really... It wouldn't take much to turn this property into an absolute gem - and complement its amazing location.

“Amazing weekend get away!”

The villa was very clean and the beds on rooms on the ground and upper floor were fantastic. Great for a big group of people. Pool was amazing and lovely and clean and spacious. Juan was an amazing host and very responsive to all of my messages I have sent him leading up to the trip and during the trip. He waited for us in the villa for check in for a time that suited us! The photos of the villa do not do it justice! The villa is way prettier than the photos displayed! Thanks again Juan for being a great host and making our stay so enjoyable!

The 3 rooms In the basement could do with a slight revamp, they are a bit claustrophobic but they were totally fine for what we needed as we were only laying our heads for a few hours at night. Slight ant issue in these lower ground rooms too but ant spray was provided. Only these three rooms had ants in them. The rest of the villa was perfect. If you only had a group of 13 or less you could avoid using the lower basement rooms.

“For a large, blended family with a good spread of ages the villa makes a good base to work from.”

The location is perfect for a large family with easy access to the coast and lots of facilities nearby. The property was roomy with loads of space so that a large group could spend time together without getting under each others feet. The pool was a godsend!

To be improved

The property has several very nice bedrooms particularly the master however a couple of the bedrooms are in the basement and appear to be a bit 'haphazard'. Some of the bathrooms could do with a spruce up as they are looking dated. Several of the appliances in the kitchen did not work

Great location short stroll to bars and restaurants and supermarkets and shops but quiet and peaceful. 10 minute walk to the lovely harbour. Beautiful character villa with lots of lovely traditional features. Met by our lovely host Juan he was friendly and really helpful. A real home away from home with well equipped kitchen and washing facilities in utility room. We were there celebrating a special birthday with large family group for which it was perfect. Pool was cleaned daily. Lovely well kept garden and lots of outside seating around the pool which was nice and private.
