Well unfortunately our car broke down so for two days had to walk up to the apartment should state that this is not a easy walk very steep. Towels were hard and old . Beds could do with a topper on them .

The flat had separate twin beds and we are a couple on an anniversary trip. And they were a little hard.

“Excellent value”

The best

The views are, as you'd expect, spectacular. It's a perfect place to sit in the evening and watch (and listen to) La Herradura enjoying itself. We made more use of the upper terrace this time, for star-gazing purposes... The kitchen is well-equipped, so self-catering is made easy. Prepare a meal, sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. Maria always makes us feel very welcome and looked after. Excellent value for money.

To be improved

The air conditioning struggled a little during the heatwave (didn't we all?), but the addition of a ceiling fan in the bedroom has helped a lot. I think the beds might be ready for newer mattresses... The shower has a tendency to flood... The plug filter needs to be checked and cleared regularly.

The view from the apartment is fantastic - right across the whole village and the bay. The balcony is a perfect spot for an evening apertivo before dinner and to enjoy the sunset. The roof terrace is private and perfect for soaking up the afternoon rays! The kitchen is brilliantly stocked with tools and basic seasonings/oil to help with cooking. Bathroom and bedroom clean and spacious. The apartment is quite a steep walk to get to, so not for the faint hearted unless you are looking to drive into the village each day.

The views were, indeed, spectacular and the flat was very clean and well-equipped. Maria was especially helpful.

To get the views, you have to be prepared for the walk back uphill from the beach... But it's really worth the effort!
