“While the apartment had many positives, including cleanliness, a well-equipped kitchen, and quiet surroundings, the brok”
The apartment itself was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was particularly good, offering a dishwasher, washing machine, and plenty of cooking supplies. We did have an issue with the oven, but it turned out to be switched off at the fuse box, which we only discovered after a week. The WiFi worked well, and there were lots of TV channels available, mostly British if you're looking for that. The air conditioning was a big plus and kept the place cool, which was appreciated during the hot days.
Unfortunately, there were some issues that impacted our stay. When we arrived, the front door was broken, so we couldn’t lock it properly. It took until the following Tuesday (after we reported it on Friday) for it to be fixed. Until then, we had to exit through the patio doors, which couldn’t be locked from the outside, leaving us feeling a bit vulnerable. The terrace was another disappointment. Despite being on the ground floor with easy access to the pool, the terrace never seemed to get any sun, and we found it a bit depressing. As a result, we didn’t spend much time out there. There was also an additional room that wasn’t mentioned in the listing, which seemed to be a storage room or could be used as a second bedroom. However, it had a strange smell and gave off an unsettling vibe, so we ended up avoiding it altogether. Location: The apartment is close to the port, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants, which is convenient if you want to grab a drink or dinner. However, it’s quite a long walk to the old town, which was a downside for us. There is a beach to the west of the port that’s lovely—shallow, sandy, and perfect for kids—but the main town beach was awful during our stay. It was completely covered in seaweed, and tractors were constantly trying to clean it up, making it feel more like a construction site than a place to relax. The apartments themselves, It was also very quiet, which some people might really enjoy. The pool area was clean and peaceful as well, although we found it almost too quiet—no bar, snacks, or facilities around the pool made it feel a little boring.
